Erik C. Cox, 18, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, passed away at 3:30 am, Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation Monday, June 10, 2024, 4:00 - 9:00 pm, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 8025 W. Golf Road, Niles.  Prayers Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 9:00 am, from funeral home to Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, (Maryville Academy), located at 1170 N. River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois.  Mass of Christian Burial at  10:00 am.  

Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.

Erik was born October 10, 2005; he is the beloved son of the late Erika Ellison and Ronnie Cox; loving nephew of Fernando and Frances Chavarria Sr.; dear brother of Naomi Cox, Zoila Chavarria and Fernando Chavarria Jr.; fond grandson of Maurice Ellison, the late Mary Ellison, the late Deborah Cox and Ronnie Cox; caring nephew of  Angela Salami, Jessica Ellison, Maurice Ellison, Amy Ellison and Brittany Ellison; devoted cousin of Deja, Brianna, Reggie, Ryan, Mila and Danny; cherished family member to many others.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Erik's loving aunt and uncle Fernando and Frances Chavarria Sr.
