Geoffrey Richard Hammond, 53, of Wilmette, Illinois, passed away at 9:51 pm, Thursday, April  9, 2026 at  Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Illinois.

Cremation rites have been accorded, with services to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:30 am, at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, located at 8600 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, Illinois.  (Meet at cemetery office prior to services)  There will be a short service at the cemetery chapel, followed by interment of the cremated remains. 

Geoffrey was born  April 29, 1972, in Chicago Illinois, the son of Richard and Celeste (nee Stachnik) Hammond.  Geoffrey was preceded in death by his cherished father.  

Geoffrey is the beloved husband of Heidy (nee Morales) Hammond,  cherished son of Celeste (nee Stachnik) Hammond and Michael Pensack, devoted father of Gerry Hammond, loving brother of Elizabeth (Christophe) Foubert and funny uncle of Hazel and Lander Foubert.
