Maureen R. Garcelon

Maureen R. Garcelon, 88, of Huntley, Illinois, passed away at 11:57 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2025  in Houston, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, December 6th, 2025, 10:00 am, at St. Stephen the Protomartyr Catholic Church, located at 1280 Prospect Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.  Meet at church.

Interment  All Saints Catholic Cemetery, located at 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois.

Maureen was born February 23, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois: the daughter of William and Hannah (Coyne) Conroy.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving daughters Catherine Garcelon and Marie Garcelon-Corbett, her cherished granddaughter Chelsey Garcelon and her dear siblings Patricia Baumann, William Conroy and Nancy Sullivan.

Maureen is the beloved wife of Maurice Garcelon; loving  mother of John Garcelon, Raymond Garcelon, James Garcelon, Denise (Les) Bennett, Robert Garcelon, Thomas Garcelon and Donald Garcelon; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Kelly) Bennett, Mitchell Bennett, Matthew (Allie) Bennett, Bridgette (Jacob) Pillitere, Donovan Garcelon, Kenlee Garcelon, Ryan Garcelon and Keegan Garcelon; cherished great grandmother of Blaise Bennett, Leo Bennett, Sophia Bennett, Noah Bennett, Nathan Bennett, Bennett Pillitere and Hudson Pillitere; dear sister of John "Jack" Conroy; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
